Talecraft Independence Day Contests

WRITING

Write a story based on the following cards:

Genre: Historical (Philippines)
Archetypes: The Competent Man, The Tomboy
Keywords: Forbidden Love, Revenge, Ship, Body Paint, Mirror, Test

Stories can be in English or Filipino, and must not exceed 1000 words. Save your story in RTF format. Only one entry per person. Don’t forget to include your name, age, occupation, and contact number. Send your entry to talecraft@komikasi.com on or before June 11, 2008.

Prize: P2,000, a Talecraft Gift Bag, and the publishing of your story on the Talecraft website.

ILLUSTRATING

Illustrate in your own style any one of the cards in the Talecraft deck. You don’t need to write the description, but the name of the card must appear as part of the artwork. Size of entry must be 2.5” x 4”. It can be hand-drawn or computerized. Scan it at 300dpi and save it in JPG format. Only one entry per person. Send your entry to talecraft@komikasi.com on or before June 11, 2008. Don’t forget to include your name, age, occupation, and contact number in your email.

Prize: P2,000, a Talecraft Gift Bag, and the exhibition of your work at Talecraft’s Toycon booth and on the Talecraft website.
